Jack Reeves to perform in Decatur

DECATUR - A benefit concert, featuring country / western singer Jack Reeves, will be held Saturday in Veterans Park as part of the "Fun in the Park - Save our School"fundraiser.
Reeves will do his "Nashville Saturday Night"performance, which features old rock 'n' roll and country music and impersonations of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Jim Reeves, Tom Jones and Elvis Presley.
Reeves has had a long career in music. He was named Entertainer of the Year by the Country Western Music Association in 1974 and has performed in Las Vegas, Hollywood and as far away as Hawaii and Alaska.
Reeves performs with his two sons. Matt Reeves, 17, plays guitar, and Cole Reeves, 13, plays bass.
Kyla Horton will open the show. She has been touring the state since she was 17 and has performed at the Decatur Barbecue, the Tontitown Grape Festival and Riverfest. She will also open for Bryan White at the Decatur Barbecue on Aug. 1.
Admission is by donation only. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. Jack Reeves will begin his performance at 8: 30 p.m.
