Sanitation services transfer to city
Posted on Thursday, July 3, 2008
BELLA VISTA - Residents here should now direct all sanitation-related questions and concerns to the city of Bella Vista.
Sanitation services, which are provided by Allied Waste Services of Bella Vista, transferred to the city of Bella Vista from the Property Owners Association on Tuesday, a POA news release states.
The association will continue providing sanitation services to Bella Vista Heights residents, which are outside of the Bella Vista city limits. The area includes the Norwich, Kilburn, Greenwich and Durham subdivisions.
Residents in Bella Vista Heights are to continue to contact the POA with their questions and concerns. Other residents should contact the city of Bella Vista at 876-1255.
Residents will not notice a difference in billing or payment collection. The POA will continue to send out the sanitation bill with the association's monthly water bill, and payment will be collected in the same manner. The POA will then transfer the money to the city of Bella Vista.
