Since 1984, the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Benton County has awarded more than $ 3 million in scholarships to Benton County single parents who were determined to gain an education to raise their standard of living.
In 2007, the fund awarded 482 scholarships to 178 students totaling more than $ 344, 800.
