AHTD sets public meetings in area

The following are upcoming Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department public meetings. The first three meets are from 4 p. m. to 7 p. m.:
• Springdale Northern Bypass P. E. (Highway 412 ): June 3 at Willis Shaw Elementary School, 4337 Grimsley Road in Springdale. Design public hearing;
• Sprindale Northern Bypass P. E. (Highway 412 ): June 4 at Harvey and Bernice Jones Center for Families (rooms 226 and 227 ), 922 E. Emma Ave. in Springdale. Design public hearing;
• Avoca-Gateway NEPA study (Highway 62 ): June 12 at Garfield First Baptist Church, 17784 Marshall St. in Garfield. Location public hearing.
The following are public-officials meetings:
• Springdale Northern Bypass (Highway 412 ): 11 a. m. June 3 at Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission, 1311 Clayton in Springdale;
• Avoca-Gateway NEPA study (Highway 62 ): 1 p. m. June 12 at Garfield First Baptist Church, 17784 Marshall St. in Garfield.
