Ballet group to perform at OBU

BENTONVILLE - Peggie Wallis, director of the Rejoice and Dance Junior Ensemble, and five of her ballet students will appear in Arkadelphia this weekend. Joining others from throughout the state, Wallis and the dancers will attend the 84 th Convention of the Arkansas Federation of Music Clubs at Ouachita Baptist University.
Wallis will present the address "The Making of a Dancer."
"Ballet in its true form must develop slowly with the correct use of muscles," Wallis said. Dancers attending are Rachel Staff, Hannah Brown, Sara Pascoe, Aspasia Mulkey and Emmaline Brown.
