Band concert set for May 4

The Bella Vista Community Concert Band will present its first concert of the 2008 season at 3 p. m. Sunday at the Bella Vista Community Church. The concert is free, and all are invited to attend.
The band will play a variety of selections, including “ Star Dust, ” “ A String of Pearls, ” selections from “ The Firebird Suite, ” highlights from “ Cats, ” “ The Whistler and His Dog, ” marches from England, France and Germany, and others.
The band is made up of musicians from Bella Vista, Bentonville, Rogers, Neosho, Eureka Springs, Sulphur Springs, Gravette, Pineville and other towns. For more information on the concert or joining the band, call George Alter at 855-7954.
