BELLA VISTA — The Bella Vista Property Owners Association has scheduled its spring “ white goods” pickup.

Bella Vista residents can call the POA’s Buildings and Grounds Division between 8 a. m. and 3 p. m. April 7-10 to request that an appliance be picked up, according to a POA news release.

Appliances — of all colors — will be picked up by Allied Waste Services of Bella Vista during the week of April 14-18 on the customer’s regularly scheduled garbage-collection day.

Accepted appliances include washers, dryers, ranges, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, water heaters, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers.

Garbage and appliances must be on the street by 6 a. m. on the collection day.

Allied Waste will only pick up items that have been scheduled through the POA’s Buildings and Grounds Division. To register, call 855-5060.

Bella Vista residents are reminded that Allied Waste will also collect one bulky item, such as household and lawn furniture, electronics and lawn mowers, each week. However, the waste company does not accept tires, batteries, oil or hazardous materials.

In addition, Benton County will sponsor a countywide cleanup from 8 a. m. to 3 p. m. April 26 at the Benton County Road Department, 1206 S. W. 14 th St. in Bentonville.
