Miss Shamrock pageant to be held in Gravette

GRAVETTE - Miss Shamrock - a St. Patrick's Day pageant - will be held at 2 p.m. March 15 at the Gravette High School Performing Arts Center. This is a fundraising pageant presented by the Gravette Gleamers 4-H Club.
Admission is $ 5 for adults and $ 3 for students and children. An Audience Favorite award will also be conducted. Each vote is $ 1.
Age divisions are: 0-23 months; 2 to 3 years; 4 to 5 years; 6 to 7 years; 8 to 9 years; 10 to 11 years; 12 to 13 years; 14 to 15 years and 16 to 18 years.
An optional photogenic contest will be available for each age division. The cost is $ 5 to enter. It will be judged separately and will not be a part of the beauty score.
Each registration must be accompanied by a $ 20 entry fee. Checks should be made payable to the Gravette Gleamers 4-H Club. Contestants will compete in beauty wear / evening gown competitions only. Girls ages 11 and younger are to wear short dresses and natural makeup. Girls ages 12 and older can wear long dresses and full makeup.
Registrations should be completed and mailed by March 7 to Miss Shamrock, 16370 Bethlehem Road, Gravette AR 72736.
Entry forms are at the Benton County Extension Office in Bentonville, the Bank of Gravett's Hiwasse branch and at Arvest Bank in Gravette.
