Bella Vista incidents

Among incidents reported to the Bella Vista Police Department according to records, were the following:

• At 7: 19 a. m. Monday, a caller reported that a vehicle hit a deer near the Sonic Drive-In on U. S. 71. The deer was still alive on the road’s shoulder.

• At 3: 31 p. m. Monday, a barking dog was reported on Duvall Drive.

• At 6: 18 p. m. Monday, an elderly man and his daughter on Ashfield were reported arguing over his car keys. The daughter was trying to keep him from driving because his driver’s license had been revoked.

• At 6: 41 p. m. Monday, a caller on Cardinal Road reported a shot was fired from a highpowered rifle.

• At 7: 07 p. m. Monday, a small deer was hit on Arkansas Highway 340 east of Trafalgar, downhill from Derwent. The deer, which was still alive, was pulled off to the side of the roadway.

• At 10: 43 p. m. Monday, a pit bull was reported loose on Formby Drive.

• At 1: 18 a. m. Tuesday, a break-in was reported at the Bella Vista Christian Church. The rear door was damaged, windows were broken and the lights were on.

• At 8: 30 a. m. Tuesday, a brown Labrador retriever was reported loose on Estes Drive.

• At 10: 52 a. m. Tuesday, a caller reported a large black dog on a chain was running in the road at the intersection of Bassingham Lane and Welland. The animal-control officer found the dog tied to a fire hydrant and took the animal to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• At 4: 27 p. m. Tuesday, a caller on Sileby Lane reported a Helping Hands vehicle ran into her vehicle in her driveway.

• At 7: 19 p. m. Tuesday, the McDonald County (Mo. ) Sheriff’s Office called the Bella Vista Police Department to report that a man was driving a ’ 90 s model white Escort, had left following a disturbance in Jane, Mo., and possibly was armed with a knife.

• At 8: 03 p. m. Tuesday, a caller on Burford Lane reported lying in bed and hearing someone trying to open the window on the right side of the residence.

• At 9: 45 p. m. Tuesday, a caller on Winters Drive reported a large black dog had showed aggression. Bentonville incidents

Among incidents reported to the Bentonville Police Department according to records, were the following:

• At 12: 07 p. m. Monday, Amy Handy reported an unwanted person at 2309 S. W. Primrose St.

• At 12: 22 p. m. Monday, Christina Bishop reported a stray shepherd / collie mix at 2910 S. E. J St.

• At 12: 59 p. m. Monday, Brandon (no other name given ) reported that someone broke into a vending machine at 2307 S. E. Walton Blvd.

• At 4: 47 p. m. Monday, a caller reported forgery at 406 S. Walton Blvd. Rogers incidents

Among incidents reported to the Rogers Police Department according to records, were the following:

• At 2: 07 p. m. Monday, Monica Smith, 5229 Shadow Lake Court, reported the theft of a Rolex.

• At 3: 40 p. m. Monday, Elmer Eckel, 3725 N. Second St., reported someone was using his name to open credit cards.

• At 5: 02 p. m. Monday, Robert Wilson reported various items stolen from his front yard at 1001 Raven Road.

• At 12: 23 p. m. Tuesday, Rebecca Gibbons reported that her vehicle, parked at 1322 S. Mountie Boulevard, had been broken into and her purse was taken.

• At 11: 53 a. m. Tuesday, a caller reported shoplifting at Kohl’s, 301 N. 46 th St.

• At 2: 18 p. m. Tuesday, Johnny Byler reported someone broke into his van at 816 N. 16 th St. and stole his stereo and some tools.

• At 2: 13 p. m. Tuesday, Shane Wilcox reported someone stole two Rug Doctors from the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 2110 W. Walnut St.

• At 4: 35 p. m. Tuesday, Eddie Tutt, 1213 S. 55 th Place, reported his city trash can was missing.

• At 6: 56 p. m. Tuesday, Alicia Martinez reported that graffiti previously on her fence at 2716 N. Fifth St., was crossed out and new graffiti was added.

• At 5: 20 a. m. Wednesday, Bryan Jernigan reported that a backhoe at Rogers Iron and Metal, 721 N. Arkansas St., which had been put away, was out and running.

• At 8: 44 a. m. Wednesday, Kim Nguyen reported that a check taken from her mailbox at 800 N. 26 th St. was cashed at a Bentonville bank.

• At 9: 20 a. m. Wednesday, cash and checks were reportedly taken from Elmwood Junior High School, 1600 S. 13 th St.

• At 10: 22 a. m. Wednesday, Doug Allen reported finding a bicycle at his home at 801 N. 30 th St.

• At 11: 55 a. m. Wednesday, Michael Riggins reported red, profane graffiti at his home at 3309 S. E St.
