Bella Vista incidents
Among incidents reported to the Bella Vista Police Department according to records, were the following:
• At 7: 32 a. m. Tuesday, a Doberman-mix wearing a choker collar was reported loose in the Highlands Crossing Drive area.
• At 8: 39 a. m. Tuesday, two bassett-mix dogs were reported loose on Arkansas Highway 279 between Gates and Cooper Road.
• At 12: 17 p. m. Tuesday, a caller reported an older male wearing a baseball cap and glasses drove around the caller on U. S. Highway 71 near Trafalgar, put a gun on the dash and pointed at the caller. The male was in a silver Trailblazer with Arkansas license plate 870 JLR. The vehicle was last seen driving up Trafalgar from U. S. 71.
• At 12: 30 p. m. Tuesday, a caller on Chapel Lane reported an aggressive cat.
• At 2: 39 p. m. Tuesday, a caller reported a power line was down on Rogers Road. The line was a cable line, and the road was cleared.
• At 6: 13 p. m. Tuesday, a large black-andwhite dog wearing a collar was reported snapping at people. The dog was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
• At 8: 09 p. m. Tuesday, a caller on Harlow Drive reported a neighbor’s chow-mix was loose.
• At 8: 36 p. m. Tuesday, the McDonald County (Mo. ) Sheriff’s Office called to report that a late ’ 90 s model Pontiac, license plate AR 397 GES, left the scene of an accident in front of Macadoodles. The Bella Vista Police Department located the vehicle and passed the information to the MCDSO.
• At 4: 32 a. m. Thursday, a verbal disturbance was reported on Melanie Drive. A woman wanted to get her stuff out of a residence, and a man wouldn’t let her.
• At 7: 15 a. m. Thursday, a Doberman wearing a choke collar was reported loose on Highlands Crossing Drive.
• At 9: 18 a. m. Thursday, a medium-size black dog was reported loose on Kendall Drive.
• At 9: 50 a. m. Thursday, a caller on Rori Lane reported a strong odor in the area, and she wanted assistance in locating the source.
• At 1: 07 p. m. Thursday, a dog on Eastleigh Circle was taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
• At 5: 49 p. m. Thursday, Tom Simpson on Kincardine Lane reported the unauthorized use of a vehicle. Simpson said a man borrowed the vehicle, then said he would buy it and signed a contract, but Simpson has not been able to reach the man for three weeks. Benton County incidents
Among incidents reported to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office according to records, were the following:
• At 9: 44 a. m. Thursday, Jodi Fredrickson, 10127 E. Highway 72, reported the theft of a motorcycle.
• At 11: 42 a. m. Thursday, Wanda Salas, 14491 It’ll Do Road, reported the theft of a checkbook and two debit cards. Rogers incidents
Among incidents reported to the Rogers Police Department according to records, were the following:
• At 2: 51 p. m. Tuesday, Jesse Cates, 1000 W. Olive St., reported a motorcycle behind his apartments, and he suspected that the motorcycle had been stolen.
• At 5: 09 p. m., Irene Sanchez reported someone used her personal information to make purchases online.
• At 7: 56 p. m. Tuesday, Donna Mc-Clenan, 2331 W. New Hope Road, reported some items were missing from her back porch.
• At 8: 13 a. m. Thursday, George Basco reported the theft of a central-air-conditioning unit at 103 W. Walnut St.
• At 2: 05 p. m. Thursday, Street Superintendent Frankie Guyll reported a collision between a Street Department tractor and a van at the intersection of Bellview and Pleasant Grove roads.
