NWACC Kids’ College starts Monday

Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville will host its annual Kids’ College on Monday through July 27. Kids’ College is a summer enrichment program designed to spark the imagination and expand the knowledge of youth.

The theme is “ Your Future Starts Here. ”

Children in grades three through five will attend 8 a. m. to 5 p. m. Monday through Thursday and will hold an open house at noon July 20.

Grades six through nine attend from 8 a. m. to 5 p. m. July 23-26 and will hold an open house at noon July 27.

Approximately 250 kids will attend and will choose from 14 different activities.

Activities include rocket launchers, tie dye and beyond, CSI NWA, you’re the boss, cultural communication, hip hop dance stop, decision making, digital storytelling, newsworthy newsletters, discovering the world, product testing and marketing, first act, putting on the ritz, and paint, pastels and more.
