Kiwanis Poker Run set

BENTONVILLE - Bentonville Kiwanians are looking forward to a great turnout for their Poker Run on Saturday. The first bike out is scheduled to leave Pig Trail Harley-Davidson in Rogers at 10 a.m.

The cost is $ 25 per bike, and lunch is included. According to Kiwanian Max McGaugh, prize money totals more than $ 600, along with plenty of door prizes.

McGaugh mentioned the club's scholarships that are awarded to graduating seniors each year; the Youth Excellence Awards presented each year to youngsters at a variety of grade levels who have excelled, in spite of big challenges in their paths; the Little Tiger Relays track and field event for young students in Bentonville; and the Kiwanis Terrific Kid Award, given monthly to outstanding elementary school students for exemplary behavior.
