Kendrick Fincher event is April 28

Registration has started for the ninth annual Kendrick Fincher Youth Run. The run will be at 8 a. m. April 28 at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers. The run is for children ages 6 to 13. Children ages 10 to 13 will run / walk approximately 1 or 1 1 / 2 miles, and children ages 6 to 9 will run / walk approximately a half mile. Runpacket pickup will begin at 7 a. m. with pre-run warm-ups with trainers at 7: 45 a. m.
Online registration is available at www. kendrickfincher. org. The first 500 runners will receive a run packet with a T-shirt, assorted product samples, and coupons from sponsors. All participants will receive a water bottle and be eligible to win prizes at the completion of the run.
A pre-run pasta dinner will be April 27 at the Metroplex Event Center, 2303 S. Eighth St. in Rogers. Admission is $ 5 for adults and $ 3 for children ages 6 to 13. Children 5 and under may eat free.
