Saturday, Withrow Springs State Park, Near Huntsville Watershed partnership seeks volunteers The Illinois Watershed Partnership is seeking volunteers to help maintain the watershed and to be part of the Stream-Team. Individuals, families, school groups and businesses are welcome. StreamTeams will adopt one of 37 sites in the upper Illinois River Watershed, collect four water samples between September and May, and deliver samples to the University of Arkansas water resources lab for analysis. The watershed partnership and the Arkansas Water Resources will train volunteers from 2-4: 30 p. m. Sept. 13 at Lake Wedington in Fayetteville. Sessions will last 30 minutes each. Illinois River Watershed Appreciation Day will be from 2-7 p. m. Sept. 13 and is open to the public. More information is available at www. irwp. org.
