Mr. and Mrs. Chester Edens Alice and Chester Edens of Lowell will celebrate their 65 th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 5, at Pleasant Street Church of Christ in Springdale. The couple were married July 10, 1943.
She is the former Alice Russell. They are the parents of Jerry Edens of New Caney, Texas; Barbara Spier of Houston; Beverly McKenna of Savannah, Ga.; and Eddie Edens of Lowell.
The couple have 10 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
