A fiber festival will be held Oct. 25 at the Pauline Whitaker Animal Science Center, located north of the University of Arkansas, off Garland Avenue in Fayetteville. Information is on the Web site: www. ar goatsheepfiber. com.
The festival will offer knitting and spinning workshops and shearing, carding, weaving and dyeing demonstrations. There also will be exhibits of alpacas, llamas, sheep and rabbits. Other demonstrations include shearing, fleece care, felting and more.
