A few tips for caring for eyelash extensions from the Xtreme Lashes Web site: Do not wash eyes or shower for 24 hours after lash application. Do not swim or go to the spa for 48 hours after lash application to allow adequate time for bonding. Be gentle with your lashes. Avoid rubbing your eyes. Avoid oil-based and waterproof mascara. Water-based mascara can be used. Use mascara sparingly, and gently remove mascara with waterbased eye makeup remover. (Xtreme Lashes offers its own water-based mascara, specially formulated for eyelash extensions; customers should apply the mascara to the tips only. )
Touch-ups are recommended every two to four weeks.
