Millions of TV viewers will watch Gravette native Patrick Hall perform Wednesday night on Fox's American Idol. Hall, 27, is one of the show's 24 finalists. The 12 female finalists compete at 7 p.m. today, with the men following at the same time Wednesday. Phone polls will be open for two hours following each show, and the results will air at 7 p.m. Thursday when four contestants will be sent packing. Hall, who started singing in church when he was only 4, auditioned in Las Vegas and so far has been low-key on the program. Many Idol fans believe that's a good thing at this stage of the competition.
