BOYS BEEBE 73, HEBER SPRINGS 71 Trey Smith hit a shot with 1. 5 seconds left to give the Badgers (1-0 ) a victory over the visiting Panthers. Zack Kersey led Beebe with 22 points, and Anthony Forte added 14. Smith and Will Scott each scored 12 for Beebe. Andy Galloway’s 25 points led Heber Springs, and Alex Teas added 20 and Tyler Thomas 13. JACKSONVILLE 63, LITTLE ROCK Mc-CLELLAN 55 Laquinten Miles scored 20 points as the host Red Devils (1-0 ) defeated the Lions (0-1 ). Deshone McClure added 16 and Antwon Lockhart 11 for Jacksonville, which led 39-26 at the half. JOHNSON COUNTY WESTSIDE 58, OLA 52 Zach Larison led the Rebels with 17 points in a victory over the Mustangs in Coal Hill. Derek Bryant added 14 and Michael Willis 11 for Westside. LITTLE ROCK HALL 59, FORT SMITH NORTHSIDE 37 Marland Smith led the Warriors with 18 points in a victory over the Grizzlies in a benefit game in Fort Smith. Tevin Worthy added 10 for Hall. Ian Carter led Northside with 14 points. LITTLE ROCK PARKVIEW 62, SPRINGDALE HAR-BER 54 Sophomore Aaaron Ross made his Parkview debut by scoring 18 of his game-high 27 points in the first half of the Patriots’ victory over the host Wildcats. Ross helped stake the Patriots to a 37-23 halftime lead. Har-Ber, behind 23 points from Taylor Sites, took a onepoint lead in the fourth quarter before the Patriots regained control. Darius Alexander and Zack Graggs each added 12 points for the Patriots. NORTH PULASKI 67, STUTTGART 43 Aaron Cooper led the way with 28 points in a victory over the host team in the Ricebird Invitational. DaQuan Bryant added 11 for North Pulaski (2-0 ). ROSE BUD 82, BAY 56 Jacob Pio led the host Ramblers (2-0 ) with 28 points in a victory over the Yellowjackets. Zeb Prothro added 24 and Cody Smith 21 for Rose Bud, which led 43-36 at the half. Wade Hamilton led Bay with 17 points. SYLVAN HILLS 57, OAK GROVE 51 Dejuan Brown led the Bears (1-1 ) with 18 points in a victory over the visiting Hornets. P. J. Ross and Nick Zimmerman each added 10 for Sylvan Hills. Jaloni Patterson led Oak Grove with 14 points, Cedrick Williams added 13 and Correz Green 10.

GIRLS ARKADELPHIA 60, GURDON 26 Leandra Thomas led the Lady Badgers (1-0 ) with 11 points in a victory over the visiting Lady Go-Devils. BEEBE 56, HEBER SPRINGS 42 Ty O’Neill led the Lady Badgers (1-0 ) with 32 points in a victory over the visiting Lady Panthers (1-2 ). Audre Renneker added 10 for Beebe. Jena Kelley led Heber Springs with 20. BENTON 49, JACKSONVILLE 42 Mattison Chilton scored 15 points, including four free throws in the final 1: 31, to help the Lady Panthers (1-0 ) hold off the host Lady Red Devils (0-1 ). Benton never trailed but Jacksonville pulled to within one point twice — the last coming with 2: 30 left. Kara Reynolds added nine points for Benton. Chilton and Reynolds each had 12 rebounds. Tyra Terry scored 14 points and made four steals to lead Jacksonville. Joanna Curtis and Julie Davis each had three steals for Benton. GREENBRIER 57, CLINTON 51 Kayle Browning led the Lady Panthers (1-0 ) with 13 points in a come-from-behind victory over the visiting Lady Yellowjackets. Clinton, which was led by 25 points from Whitney Donahue, led 26-24 at the half. Cicely New added 12 points and Jayme Wilcox 10 for Greenbrier.
