Russian ballet to visit Fort Smith
The Russian National Ballet Theatre from Moscow will perform Marius Pepita's The Sleeping Beauty at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Fort Smith Convention Center's Arkansas Best Corp. Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $32 to $40. The Russian National Ballet was founded in the late 1980s and is led by legendary Bolshoi dancer Elena Radchenko. The Sleeping Beauty is part of the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith's Season of Entertainment 28. Remaining shows this season include Movin' Out on Feb. 11, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels on March 16 and Birdhouse Factory on April 1. More information is available by calling (479) 788-7300.
