The competition will feature teams from Arkansas, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. Registration and social hour begins at 3 p. m. Thursday. The public will be able to view the robots from 1-3 p. m. Friday. The competition will begin at 7: 45 a. m. Saturday at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith’s Stubblefield Center. — ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE UAFS Christmas concert set for Dec. 9 The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith’s annual Seasons Greetings concert will be free this year. The event will be 7 p. m. Dec. 9 at the university’s Stubblefield Center. The concert will feature the university’s Symphonic Band, the Jazz Catz, the UA Fort Smith Chorale and Women’s Chorus and the Brass Ensemble, and will coincide with the lighting of the campus for Christmas. Five $ 500 scholarships also will be awarded during the event. Three scholarships will go to current students, with two awarded to high school seniors.
