Admission’s free Saturday at LR Zoo

Admission to the Little Rock Zoo is free this Saturday to celebrate War Memorial’s 60 th anniversary and the Arkansas Razorbacks’ first game at War Memorial Stadium this season, according to a news release.
The Zoo is open from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. on Saturday. The zoo stops accepting patrons at 4 p. m.
Another event at the zoo this month is breakfast with giraffes at 8 a. m. Sept. 27. Guests will get a VIP keeper chat about giraffes and a buffet breakfast at Cafe Africa.
Reservations are required and can be made by calling the zoo at (501 ) 661-7218. Admission to this event for patrons who have an annual membership is $ 8. 95 for a child and $ 12. 95 for an adult.
Nonmember admission is $ 4 extra for child and adult admission.
