Babies to 9-year-olds will compete in pageants ranging from Little Miss Benton County Teeny Tiny (up to age 11 months ) to Miss Benton County Little Miss (ages 7-9 ) at 4 p. m. Sept. 10. — ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE Chamber to host rural friendship day The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce will host Rural Friendship Development Day, starting 7: 30 a. m. today at the Washington County Extension Service Office. Participants will tour Terra Studios and Cheevers’ Farm and get a chance to meet the 2008 Washington County Farm Bureau Family of the Year. Breakfast will be served by the University of Arkansas poultry department. Bicycle race set for Sept. 6 The Har-Ber Meadows Criterium, a 1. 1-mile closed course bicycle race, will be 8: 30 a. m. Sept. 6 at Har-Ber Meadows in Springdale.
