— ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE Eureka Springs Bluegrass Festival set The Eureka Springs Bluegrass Festival will be held Aug. 21-24 at Basin Spring Park and the City Auditorium. The event begins with a watermelon extravaganza followed by a bluegrass jam at 7 p.m. Aug. 21 in Basin Spring Park. Free music begins at 11 a.m. Aug. 22 at Basin Spring Park and throughout downtown Eureka Springs. Shows at the Auditorium begin at 7: 30 p.m. Aug. 22 with performances by Spoon Man and His Family, the Larry Nelson Family, Pam Kirby and All Her Mountain View Music Friends, Old School and the Buffalo City Ramblers. On Aug. 23, the Eureka Springs Bluegrass Band will perform at 2 p.m. at the Auditorium and Arkansas Red, the Williams Family and Irl Hees will perform at 7: 30 p.m. Free music can be heard at 11 a.m. Aug. 24 in Basin Spring Park.
