Frisco Festival set for Aug. 22-23 The annual Frisco Festival will be Aug. 22-23 in downtown Rogers. This year’s festival will include a Chilisalsapeno competition, which features a chili cook-off, salsa contest and jalapeno-eating competition; a youth talent contest; firefighters endurance tests for children and adults; Frisco Idol, the festival’s take on American Idol; a 5 K run / walk at Lake Atalanta; car shows; and a motorcycle poker run. There will also be live music, food from local vendors, train rides by the Arkansas-Missouri Railroad, carnival rides and a presentation of The Tale of Snow White by the Rogers Little Theater.
