Missouri trooper finds 3 shot dead

WASHBURN, Mo. — Three people — including a Bentonville man — were found shot to death Friday night in this small town in southwest Missouri, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol news release.
A trooper traveling on Missouri 90 in Barry County about 10 p.m. saw three people lying in the grass near the sports complex in Washburn. As he approached, he realized all three were dead, the release states.
The dead were identified as Donald F. Horton Jr., 45, of Bentonville; Carl Miller, 42, of Washburn; and Miller’s ex-wife Rhonda Miller, 39, also of Washburn. They had been shot.
The investigation is continuing. Autopsies are expected to be conducted Monday.
