Two die in crashes on area highways

Two people were killed in separate accidents on Monday in Sebastian and Carroll counties.

In Fort Smith, Keith D. Falleur, 40, of Muldrow, Okla., was killed after losing control of a motorcycle at 10: 47 p. m., Fort Smith police said. Falleur was pronounced dead at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith.

The accident report said witnesses saw Falleur leave Midland Bowl at 2600 N. 32 nd St. and speed west on Kelley Highway on a 2006 Suzuki C 50. He ran off the road in a curve at North 27 th Street, hit a chain link fence and was thrown from the motorcycle. In Carroll County, Debra G. Haulton, 53, of Harrison died after the 1997 Ford in which she was traveling collided with

1 a tractor-trailer about 3 / 2 miles east of Green Forest on U. S. 62. According to the Arkansas State Police, Haulton was traveling southeast on the highway at 5: 33 p. m. approaching a tractor-trailer driven by Jimmie Kimbreel of Pyatt. The rear axle of the trailer came off, causing Kimbreel to lose control of his semi and cross into the path of Haulton’s car, the report states. Kimbreel wasn’t hurt, according to the report.
