Statewide contested runoff races

Following is a list of county, municipal and legislative runoff races from the May 20 primary election and ballot issues that will be decided by voters today. Runoffs are held when no candidate receives more than 50 percent of the votes, with the exception that state law does not provide for a runoff in city board of directors races. Party affiliation, where applicable, is denoted by (D ) for Democrat and (R ) for Republican. An asterisk follows the names of incumbents. Voting hours are 7: 30 a. m. to 7: 30 p. m.
