Interested parties should reserve places with Rachel at (479 ) 271-1004 by Tuesday. The agencies also are offering federal disaster aid to Benton County residents to supplement local and state recovery efforts in areas hit by severe storms and tornadoes. Programs include grants and low-cost loans to help with temporary housing assistance, uninsured personal property and medical, dental and funeral expenses. Applicants should have information including a current phone number, address at the time of the disaster and current address, Social Security number, general list of damages, and insurance policy number available to speed up the application process. Residents may call (800 ) 621-3362 for assistance.

— ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE Water management training next week The Community Resource Group and the Arkansas Department of Health will host a seminar on advanced training for municipal and rural water decision makers from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks in Eureka Springs. Wednesday’s sessions will cover topics related to general management, and customer service will be discussed May 29. The event is open to anyone who deals with water systems, including water operators, board members, mayors, aldermen, town clerks, bookkeepers and office managers. Preregistration is required. — ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE Butterfly release honors mental health Ozark Guidance Center will host its first butterfly release at 1 p.m. May 30 at Harp Park, 2400 S. 48 th St., Springdale. “Metamorphosis: Freedom Through Mental Health” will honor thousands of Northwest Arkansas residents living with mental illness. The event will mark the end of the center’s Mental Health Month activities. Butterflies are available for purchase for $ 10 each. Proceeds benefit children’s mental health services.
