War Eagle day planned for Saturday War Eagle Appreciation Day will be held from 9: 30 a. m.-7 p.m. Saturday at Withrow Springs State Park on Arkansas 23 near Huntsville. At 9: 30 a.m. there will be a guided float trip and a stream clean-up of the War Eagle River. Shannon Wurst, the Mountain Gypsies and Crossroad Country will perform from 2-7 p.m. at the park’s Crossbow Pavilion.
