Residents may access online videos by going to www. accessfayetteville. com and clicking on the “City Meetings: Online Video” link at the left of the page. During live video streaming of City Council meetings, residents may view documents associated with agenda items. Other meetings available online include the planning commission and telecommunications board. Video streams will be archived on the site for a year. Users’ computers must have a sound card, a minimum 56 kps Internet connection and Windows Media Player Version 9 or newer.

— ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE Bentonville ends, starts road projects The city of Bentonville announced Wednesday that West Central Avenue from West A and Main streets to North Second Street, which has been closed since Feb. 19, will open to local traffic today. East Central Avenue from Main Street to the intersection of East A and Northeast A streets from Central Avenue to North Second Street will be closed to traffic for the second phase of utility work in conjunction with the Downtown Square Enhancement Project. The closings are expected to last about two weeks. Sidewalks will be open to pedestrian traffic. More information is available at www. bentonvillear. com.

— ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE Trail of Tears tour set for Saturday The Fayetteville Public Library will host a walking Trail of Tears tour from the library to a historic Trail of Tears site at the intersection of Hill Avenue and Sixth Street beginning at noon Saturday in the library’s Ann Henry Board Room. Susan Young, outreach coordinator for the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History in Springdale, and John McLarty, vice president of Heritage Trail Partners, will lead the tour. The tour will follow the Butterfield Overland Mail Route, used from 1858-61 and will highlight a corridor of the Trail of Tears taken by a detachment of Cherokees led by John Benge from September 1838 to January 1839. Fayetteville lawyer Thomas Overbey will outline simple steps that everyone should take when planning their estate at 11 a.m. March 28 at the Fayetteville Senior Center, 945 S. College Ave. The audience will be able to submit written questions to be answered at Overbey’s follow-up presentation at 11 a.m. April 4 at the Fayetteville Senior Center. Springdale lawyer Michele A. Harrington will discuss the same topic at 11: 15 a.m. March 31 at the Springdale Senior Center, 203 Park St. Harrington also will provide brief counseling sessions for seniors who have pre-registered for the session, beginning at noon.
