The event features a casino night and silent auction. The entry fee for Texas Hold ’Em is $ 100 per person; craps, roulette and black jack cost $ 50 per person; and non-participants pay a $ 35 admission fee. Silent auction items include autographed footballs from Darren McFadden and Felix Jones, Kansas City Royals baseball tickets, a spa package from Bliss Salon and autographed Kelly Clarkson memorabilia. The Washington County Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Facility will be open the first Saturday of each month 8 a. m.-noon beginning Dec. 1, in addition to normal operating hours 8 a. m.-4 p. m. Monday through Friday.
The drop-off facility offers free household hazardous waste disposal for Washington County residents.
Common drop-off items include paint, automotive products, pesticides, herbicides, fluorescent light bulbs, cleaning products, solvents, batteries, swimming pool chemicals and cell phones.
Electronic items such as computers, printers, scanners, microwaves and stereo receivers are also recycled at a cost of $ 5 per system.
