Cheney set to speak at Hutchinson event

The White House said Thursday that Vice President Dick Cheney would travel to Northwest Arkansas on Monday and speak at a luncheon for Asa Hutchinson, who is running for governor.
The vice president will speak at the Holiday Inn Springdale before leaving Arkansas for Alabama, where he will deliver remarks at a private fundraiser for Gov. Bob Riley in Dothan, Ala.
Hutchinson of Little Rock is the Republican nominee for governor of Arkansas.
He will face Democratic Attorney General Mike Beebe of Searcy and independent Rod Bryan of Little Rock in the Nov. 7 general election.
