Those scrapbooks ranged from books of clippings documenting the lives of politicians to souvenirs that had been collected by students throughout the history of the university.

Simpson will discuss the history of scrapbooks and how to make one that will last through time.

The program is open to the public at no charge. Attendees are invited to bring a sack lunch, and refreshments will be served.

The program highlights the current exhibit, “Pressed Between the Pages,” of scrapbooks from the 1880 s to the 21 st century. The show concludes Feb. 18. — ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE Visit us on the Web For weather updates and additional Northwest Arkansas news, visit www. nwanews. com.
