Weichert, Realtors — Clark, Long & Associates opened the Clark Long School of Real Estate on Monday in Lowell.
The Weichert office’s brokers and owners Brandon Long and Carter Clark opened the school at 207 E. Monroe Ave.
Rick Rosenthal is the instructor and a broker in Arkansas and Missouri. He has taught in Bentonville.
The school opened with nine students, and more were expected to enroll before the end of the week, Rosenthal said Tuesday.
“There is an absolute demand for the school,” he said. “Real estate is a wonderful business to get into for people who are willing to work at it.” BOOMERANG SALE-LEASEBACK The Boomerang Car Wash in Pleasant Crossing was sold to a Florida-based private investor for $ 3 million in April.
Owner Rogers Pleasant Crossing Car Wash LLC, based in North Little Rock, sold the property to Pleasant Grove Car Wash LLC, according to a deed filed April 18 in Benton County. No more information was available on the buyer.
Greg Nabholz of Sperry Van Ness, a commercial real estate brokerage firm, represented the sellers, according to a news release.
Nabholz said in the release that the transaction was a saleleaseback action. The seller signed a 20-year lease for the business and will continue to operate it.
EXIT 2007 SALES In 2007, Exit Pinnacle Realty increased its sales volume more than 200 percent over 2006 sales, an increase that also reflects the office’s first full year of operations. The office totaled $ 102. 37 million in sales in 2007, up from $ 32 million in 2006. Cameron Torabi, owner and broker of Exit Pinnacle, said in a news release that the office gave out more than $ 300, 000 to agents in single level residuals during the year. Agents can use residuals for further training or reinvesting in their business. Exit Pinnacle Realty of Rogers is a franchise of Exit Realty, founded in Canada. Exit Realty has about 1, 300 franchises and about 46, 000 agents in North America, the release states. MOUNTAIN RANCH OPENING Cobblestone Homes will wrap up its grand opening celebration for Mountain Ranch in Fayetteville today.
The Fort Smith-based residential construction company is the primary builder for the development.
Mountain Ranch features 117 lots for single-family houses at the corner of Persimmon and Rupple roads.
